Ο Όμηρος Σαρίκας γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα, είναι μόνιμος κάτοικος Αγγλίας και έχει πια αγγλική υπηκοότητα.
Ο Όμηρος είναι απόφοιτος του Χάρβαρντ, και διαιετελει επίσης συμπρόεδρος του παγκόσμιου συμβουλευτικού συμβουλίου συγκέντρωσης κεφαλαίων των επιχειρηματιών αποφοίτων του Χάρβαρντ (HAE), μαζί με την Πρόεδρό του. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών του στο Χάρβαρντ, διακρίθηκε στον διαγωνισμό επενδύσεων HBS OPM Idol (VC). Μεταξύ άλλων, έλαβε μέρος σε μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα και ασχολήθηκε με την έρευνα στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Λονδίνου (University of London; LBS, LSE, CBS). Διετέλεσε διδάκτωρ ερευνητής με δημοσιεύσεις σε Λονδίνο, Οξφόρδη και Χάρβαρντ. Διεκπεραίωσε Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα στη Διαχείριση Επιχειρήσεων και Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα στα Πληροφοριακά Συστήματα Διοίκησης καθώς επίσης και το πρόγραμμα που αφορά την χρηματοοικονομική επιστήμη σχεδιασμένο ειδικά για ανώτατα στελέχη χρηματοοικονομικών οργανισμών. Tου απονεμήθηκαν διακρίσεις για μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές και υποτροφία για Διδακτορικό στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Λονδίνου.
Με εφόδια τις λαμπρές ακαδημαϊκές σπουδές ξεκίνησε την θεαματική του επαγγελματική πορεία. Εργάστηκε στο Λονδίνο, τη Ζυρίχη και τη Νέα Υόρκη για δύο δεκαετίες. Έχει συμβουλεύσει επενδυτικές τράπεζες, κυβερνήσεις, διευθύνοντες συμβούλους, μετόχους και επενδυτές, όπως KKR, Cinven, CSFB, Morgan Stanley, Welsh Carson, τα κεφάλαια του δισεκατομμυριούχου Ernesto Bertarelli και άλλα.
Είναι Συνιδρυτής και Διευθύνων Εταίρος του επενδυτικού οίκου Brookstreet Equity Partners στο Λονδίνο με στόχο επενδύσεις σε ταχέως αναπτυσσόμενες, εξωστρεφείς και δυναμικές επιχειρήσεις στη νοτιοανατολική Ευρώπη με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην Ελλάδα. Η Brookstreet Equity Partners είναι μέλος της Βρετανικής Ένωσης Διαχειριστών Ιδιωτικών Επενδυτικών Κεφαλαίων (British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association). Ρυθμίζεται και εποπτεύεται από την Αρχή Οικονομικής Δεοντολογίας (Financial Conduct Authority) του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου.
Του απονεμήθηκε το Freedom (Κλειδί) της πόλης του Λονδίνου και είναι ο Πρόεδρος (2019/2020, 2020/2021) του Συμβουλίου Fundraising Advisory Board του Συνδέσμου Διεθνών Τραπεζιτών που περιλαμβάνει 2 Λόρδους Δημάρχους κai Διοικητικά Στελέχη Τραπεζών.
Το έργο του έχει λάβει υψηλό βαθμό δημοσιότητας στην τηλεόραση, το ραδιόφωνο, τις εφημερίδες και τα περιοδικά (200+ press) και έχει συμμετάσχει σε πάνω από 100 Συνέδρια Keynote Speaker. Αυτό περιλαμβάνει τα Financial (FT, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Real Deals) και τα ελληνικά μέσα ενημέρωσης (SKAI, ANT1, NET, Kathemerini, Ναυτεμπορική, Σοφοκλέους). A Greek visionary investor and Liveryman of the City of London that kickstarted the Greek scale ups

Omiros Sarikas was born in Athens and is a UK resident and British citizen.
Omiros is a Harvard alumnus and Co-Chair of the global Fundraising Advisory Board of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs. During his studies at Harvard, Omiros distinguished in the HBS OPM Idol (VC) investment competition (winning team). Moreover, Omiros is a triple alum of the University of London (LSE, CBS, LBS), amongst others. He is also a published researcher with Oxford, London and Harvard Fellows. On top of the above, he has completed masters including business administration, management information systems and finance for executives and has received multiple distinctions along with scholarship to complete his PhD at the University of London.
Following his studies, Omiros worked in London, Zürich and New York and has completed 100+ engagements over two decades. He has advised sovereigns, corporates, banks and funds including KKR, Cinven, CSFB, Morgan Stanley, Welsh Carson, Ernesto Bertarelli’s VC and others. He is co-founder and managing partner of Brookstreet Equity Partners LLP UK, an award-winning, unique, commercially motivated and flexible Private Equity/Venture Capital (PEVC) investment group supporting companies which experience transformational growth in asymmetric markets with emphasis in Greece. He is a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts, a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and advised committees of the British Venture Capital & Private Equity Association and the House of Lords.
